Photo Manipulation and Ethics

A. Some main points I learned are don't mess with news photos because you could be altering the situation and what the viewer should be focusing on.

B. You are not allowed to alter the original scene photographed.

C. I think some ethical things you can change is if something is blurry or dark give it some light or make it a little brighter

I think this is the most unethical because it portrays a British soldier pointing his rifle at a Iraqi civilian. But the original photo is that of a British soldier urging the Iraqi civilian to get to cover for his and his child's safety. This is one of the most unethical edits i've ever seen,  it puts the soldiers life in danger by portraying him pointing his rifle at a civilian and people at home see this and think that soldiers there are just harassing civilians for no reason.

E.

I think this photo is the least unethical because its just the editor trying to make Kim Kardashian look a little better in the photo. Its not the worst because its just a little fix up most I can notice is that here skin looks a little lighter.
